E. Vernon Douglas
E. Vernon Douglas was a judge of the Third Circuit Court in Florida. He joined the court in January 1989 and retired at the end of 2012.[1] He served as chief judge of this court from 1992 to 1995, and again from July 2007 to June 2009. From 2001 to 2006, Douglas was a Family Law Administrative Judge.[2]
Education
After attending the Lake City Community College, Douglas received his B.A. degree from the University of Florida in 1969. He then earned his J.D. degree from Stetson University in 1973.[2]
Career
Douglas served as a County Court judge from 1977 until he joined the circuit court in 1989.[2]
