Maas won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of San Diego County in California outright in the primary on March 3, 2020, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Education

Maas received a bachelor's degree from San Diego State University and a J.D. from the University of San Diego.[1]

Career

Prior to becoming a judge for the Superior Court of San Diego County, Maas worked as an attorney specializing in legal malpractice defense. He was an attorney with Maas, Miyamoto and Bernstein from 2001 to January 2005. Before that, he was with the firm Chapin, Shea, McNitt and Carter.[1]
