Earl Jaques Jr.
Earl Jaques Jr. (Democratic Party) was a member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing District 27. Jaques assumed office in 2009. Jaques left office on November 4, 2020.
Jaques (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Delaware House of Representatives to represent District 27. Jaques lost in the Democratic primary on September 15, 2020.
Biography
Earl Jaques Jr. graduated from William Penn High School. Jaques served in the Delaware Air National Guard for 36 years and reached the rank of chief of staff at the Delaware Air National Guard Headquarters and was later promoted to brigadier general. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Columbia Southern University and graduated from the United States Air Force War College. Jaques served as the Delaware National Guard legislative liaison officer and founded the Delaware National Guard Education Assistance Program.[1] Jaques was elected to serve as the representative for Delaware House District 27.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Jaques won election to the Delaware House of Representatives from Delaware's 27th District. Jaques received 4,708 votes in the election, defeating Vincent Lofink (R and WFP), who received 4,662 votes, and James Spencer (Independent Party of Delaware), who received 293 votes.[12] Jaques raised $24,332 for his campaign while Lofink raised $38,273 and Spencer raised $1,947.
