East Liverpool City and Elkrun Levy Additions, 3 (May 2010)
There were three East Liverpool City and Elkrun Levy Addition measures on the May 4 ballot in Columbiana County for voters in the communities of East Liverpool and Elkrun.
The first East Liverpool measure sought to add $2 per $1,000 of assessed value of property in the city to the current property tax for a further five years in order to help pay for police services in the city.
The second East Liverpool measure sought to add $3 per $1,000 of assessed value of property in the city to the current property tax for a further five years in order to help pay for road construction and maintenance in the city.
The Elkrun township measure sought to add an additional $1 per $1,000 of assessed value on property in the township for a further five years in order to also help provide fire protection services.[1]
