An East Nicolaus Joint Union High School District, Measure W ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the East Nicolaus Joint Union High School District in Placer and Sutter counties, California. It was approved.

Upon its approval, Measure W was designed to authorize the district to increase its debt by $4 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount. Measure W was also designed to authorize the district to levy the property taxes necessary to repay these bonds.[1]

A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for the approval of Measure W.

Ballot question

The question on the ballot:[1]

To improve the quality of education with funding that cannot be taken by the State; repair or replace leaky roofs; modernize outdated classrooms, restrooms and school facilities; replace outdated heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems; make health and safety improvements; and replace temporary portables with permanent classrooms; shall the East Nicolaus High School District issue $4,000,000 of bonds at legal interest rates, have an independent citizens’ oversight committee and have NO money used for administrative salaries?[2]
