Eastlake City Council President Question (November 2012)

An Eastlake City Council President question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Lake County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.
This question amended Section 6 Article V of the Eastlake City Charter to provide that every two years a president of the Council shall be chosen by the council. The council President is also authorized by this amendment to take over the role of Mayor and have all mayoral powers in case of a vacancy in the office of the Mayor.[1]
