Ebert is the proud son of a retired police woman and a school teacher. His parents' dedication to their community instilled him with a strong belief in the importance of giving back and living a life of service. It has been his great honor to serve as an Assistant County Attorney, Special Assistant United States Attorney, and now as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney.

Ebert's central tenets are fairness, respect, and integrity. He has taken these into the courtroom every day of his eleven-year legal career, balancing them successfully with the solemn responsibility of a prosecutor to do justice.

Those who work closest with Ebert recognize this. In 2015, the Louisville Bar Association named him the Frank E. Haddad Young Lawyer of the year. This award is presented to an attorney who demonstrates skill, work ethic, and devotion to client interest. Ebert is the first prosecutor to ever win this award.

Ebert is also the husband to an attorney and registered nurse, and the father to four amazing children. His wife Noelle, step children Jackson, Maya, Meena, and his son Griffey inspire him daily to work for a better and safer Louisville.
  • I have the experience needed to be a fair and just Circuit Court Judge
  • The Citizens of Louisville need and deserve hard working judges-my work ethic and track record show that I will come to work early, leave late, and do everything in my power to make our courts work for those they serve.
  • Judges must be loyal to the law and nothing else. Real change comes about not by pushing a personal agenda, but by following the law and seeing that everyone who comes before our courts is treated with equity and respect.
