My name is Rain Eatmon, and I have lived, worked, played, and prayed in the 18th all my life! I know that we can work together to fight for the resources and protections we deserve! Join me, and let's fight together for Texas Congressional District 18!
  • I support practical solutions to eliminate medical debt, especially for low-income families, by using government leverage and bipartisan cooperation. Together, we're going to wash away the burden of medical debt for struggling families
  • I advocate for nationwide rent control and laws that stop corporate monopolization of housing while protecting justice-impacted individuals from discriminatory rental practices. Securing affordable, fair housing so no one is left out in the cold
  • I support creating an Immigration Bill of Rights and investing in a humane system that treats all families with dignity and opportunity. I want to make a just immigration system where a new beginning can flourish.
My areas of focus include reforming our immigration system and policies, and changing policies that benefit the ultra wealthy to ensure all citizens have access to resources
I would like to leave a legacy Is that empowers people to take Action! I use my past experience to teach others how to advocate for themselves on the local level, And I want to use this office to do more of the same. I believe That government only receives its power through the consent of the governed, And I want to ensure that residents know how to navigate the system that is supposed to serve them.
My very first job lose assisting my grandfather in his tax business. Although I didn't handle the money, He showed me how to be responsible and how to be an entrepreneur by teaching me how to build relationships with individuals beyond transactional commitments.
I believe 4 years would be better. However I do believe that representatives should not stay in office any longer than 10 years.
I believe that Every elected position should have term limits. Although wisdom is greatly appreciated, I cannot justify 1 person representing a district or a group of people for Multiple generations. If elected, I commit myself to only staying in the seat for a total of 10 years before I concede so that way the district can continue to have fresh ideas through fresh and competent leadership.
