Ed Gauthier was a 2014 independent candidate seeking election to the U.S. Senate from Tennessee. Ed Gauthier lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
Biography
Gauthier was born in Texas. He lived in California and then in Illinois while growing up. He joined the U.S. Army after high school. Following his service in the Army, Gauthier attended Southern Illinois University on the GI Bill. He has an engineering degree and is a construction manager. He has lived in Tennessee since 1993.[1]
