Ed Justo
Ed Justo was a 2018 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 6th Congressional District of Virginia.[1]
Virginia's Sixth District Republican Committee voted to hold a convention on May 19, 2018, to select a Republican nominee for the seat rather than hold a primary. The committee also supported an amendment that would limit the vote to one ballot, instead of the multi-ballot voting system used at most conventions.[2] Candidates disputed whether this change was designed to favor one candidate or provided a more transparent process.[3][4]
Biography
Justo attended the Interamerican University Law School and completed additional coursework at Oxford University. He practiced law in California before starting his own firm in Virginia in 2005, where he handles immigration and domestic violence cases.[5]
