Edward L. Ramsey was a civil division judge of Circuit 10 in Jefferson County, Alabama.[1] He has served the court from January 1995 until December 2012.[2]

Education

Judge Ramsey received his B.A. degree from Emory University in 1965 and his J.D. degree from the University of Alabama in 1966.[2]

Career

Judge Ramsey was admitted to the practice of law on September 7, 1966.[3] He practiced law with his father until 1970, when he became a deputy district attorney in California. From 1972 to 1995, he worked as a private practice lawyer in Birmingham.[2]
