Ed Setzler (Republican Party) is a member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 37. He assumed office on January 9, 2023. His current term ends on January 11, 2027.

Setzler (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Georgia State Senate to represent District 37. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Ed Setzler lives in Acworth, Georgia.[1] Setzler earned a B.S. in physics from Furman University in 1992. He served in the U.S. Army from 1992 to 2001 and reached the rank of captain.[1][2] Setzler's career experience includes working as the vice president of federal programs of Croft & Associates and a program manager with MACTEC.[2]

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent L. Edwin "Ed" Setzler was unopposed in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[7][8][9]
