Ed Thompson (Wisconsin)
Ed Thompson was a Republican candidate for District 31 of the Wisconsin State Senate. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.[1]

Thompson ran in the 2010 election for Wisconsin State Senate District 31. Thompson was defeated by Democrat Kathleen Vinehout in the general election on November 2, 2010. Thompson was unopposed in the Republican primary election on September 14.[2][3]
A recount request was filed with the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board on November 9, 2010[4]. The recount was final on December 1, 2010[5].
