Ed Worley
Ed Worley (b. December 28, 1956) was a Democratic member of the Kentucky State Senate from 1999-2011. He represented the 34th District and was Minority Leader from 2002-2011. He was also a member of the Kentucky Democratic Party State Central Committee.
Worley earned his B.S. in political science from Eastern Kentucky University in 1978. Worley was City Manager for the City of Richmond from 1978 to 1998. He has been a self-employed General Contractor since 1978.

Worley did not run for re-election to the 34th District Seat in the Kentucky State Senate in 2010.
2006
On November 7, 2006, Worley was re-elected to the 34th District Seat in the Kentucky State Senate, defeating Barry Metcalf (R) and Donald VanWinkle (Evangelical Christian).[1] Worley raised $308,097 for his campaign, while Metcalf raised $52,515 and VanWinkle raised $0.[2]
