Eddie Johnson ran for election to the Chicago City Council to represent Ward 16 in Illinois. Johnson lost in the general election on February 28, 2023.
Johnson was a Democratic candidate for Cook County Board of Commissioners in Illinois. Johnson lost the primary on March 20, 2018. Johnson was also a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 6 of the Illinois House of Representatives. Johnson was removed from the ballot before the primary election.[1]
