Eddie Zamora
Eddie Zamora was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 15th Congressional District of Texas. He previously ran unsuccessfully for election to the seat in 2012. Eddie Zamora lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
Biography
Zamora graduated from the United States Navy Electronics Technician "A" School in 1985. He later earned a certificate in welding from Piedmont Community College in 1996. Zamora has served in the United States Navy and worked in a variety of positions. He is senior sales consultant for Rioplex Broadband.[1]
Elections
2014
Zamora ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Texas' 15th District. Zamora defeated Doug Carlile to win the Republican nomination in the primary on March 4, 2014.[2] He was defeated by incumbent Ruben Hinojosa Sr. (D) in the general election on November 4, 2014.[3][4]

2012
Zamora ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Texas' 15th District. He and Dale Brueggemann defeated Rebecca Cervera and Jim Kuiken in the Republican primary on May 29, 2012. He was subsequently defeated by Brueggemann in the July 31 runoff.[5][6][7][8]
