Edgar G. Walker
Edgar G. Walker is a justice of the Bronx County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the 12th Judicial District of New York. He was elected to this position in 2011 after having served as an acting justice since 2005.[1][2]
Education
Walker received his A.B. degree from Cornell University in 1966 and his J.D. degree from the Columbia University School of Law in 1969.[1]
Career
Walker began his career in 1969 as Counsel to United Bronx Parents, Inc. In 1972, he became a partner of the law firm Levy and Walker, where he worked through 1990. In 1991, he was elected to the New York City Civil Court, where he served through 2010. He also served as an Acting Supreme Court Justice from 2005 to 2010. In 2011, he was elected to a full term as Supreme Court Justice.[1]
