Candidate Connection

Edie Hardcastle participated in Ballotpedia's candidate survey on April 10, 2018. The survey questions appear in bold, and Edie Hardcastle's responses follow below.[1]

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

1) Ensuring strong public schools

2) Ensuring livable wages for all Hoosiers
3) Moving Indiana into the future with regards to infrastructure and clean energy[2][3]

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?

Education is a focus for my campaign because I am an educator and my son attends a public school in our neighborhood. As a scientist, I am also concerned that Indiana move forward with regards to energy policies that encourage adoption of renewable energy sources because they would help to make energy more affordable for all Hoosiers.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[3]
