Edith Louise Messina was a circuit court judge for the 16th Circuit Court in Missouri.[1] She was appointed to the court by former Governor Christopher "Kit" S. Bond in October 1984 and retired from the bench on December 31, 2014.[2][3]

Education

Messina received her undergraduate degree in English from Avila University and her J.D. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.[2]

Career

Before she became a judge, Messina worked as an attorney in private practice and in the Public Defender's Office.[4]
