Edmund A. Calvaruso

Edmund A. Calvaruso is a judge for the Monroe County Surrogate's Court in New York. He has served in this position since 2000, following his election. He was re-elected in 2010 to a term that ends in 2019.[1]
Education
Calvaruso received his B.A. degree from St. John Fisher College in 1966 and his J.D. degree from St. John's University School of Law in 1968.[1]
Career
Calvaruso began his career in 1970 as a Rochester City Clerk. He then worked as an Assistant Public Defender for Monroe County from 1973 to 1975. He also worked in the private practice as a principal of the firm Calvaruso, Goldstein,LaBue & Mennell from 1970 to 1990. In 1991, he began his judicial career as a justice of the New York Supreme Court 7th Judicial District. He then joined the Surrogate's Court in 2000. He also served as an Acting Supreme Court Justice of the 7th Judicial District in 2004.[1]
