Edmund Acoba nominated for Kauai Fifth Circuit District Court

Hawaii: Yesterday Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald announced his first nominee to a court in Hawaii. Edmund D. Acoba was nominated to serve on the Kaua`i Fifth Circuit District Court, to succeed Calvin K. Murashige. The nomination must be confirmed by the Hawaii Senate.[1]

Acoba currently serves as the supervising attorney of the Office of the Public Defender on the island. He has worked in that office since 1989.[1]
