Edmund Ponce de Leon
Edmund Ponce de Leon was a judge serving the Cook County 6th Subcircuit in Illinois.[1] He was first elected to the court in 1996.[2] He left office on December 31, 2015.[3]

Ponce de Leon was retained to the Cook County 6th Subcircuit with 74.3 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [4]
Evaluations
The Illinois State Bar Association rated Edmund Ponce de Leon as Recommended for retention in 2014.[5]
Education
Ponce de Leon earned a B.A. in political science from Northeastern University in 1979, going on to receive his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in 1984.[2]
Career
From 1984 until his judicial election in 1996, Ponce de Leon practiced law with Ponce de Leon & Salgado, Rodriguez & Villalobos and as a solo practitioner.[2]
