"Born and raised in Illinois, I come from a household of perseverance, where my single mother worked tirelessly to support our family of six. Inspired by her resilience, I learned the value of hard work and determination. Five years ago, seeking warmth and opportunity, I made the bold decision to move to Hollywood from the suburbs of Chicago.

For years, I navigated the corporate world, working paycheck to paycheck like many of you, as inflation rose and the cost of living increased. Each day, I witnessed the struggles faced by hardworking individuals, trying to make ends meet in an economy that often feels stacked against them. Then, one day, without warning, I found myself among the thousands affected by corporate downsizing, left to navigate the uncertainty of job loss.

This experience shook me to my core and opened my eyes to the harsh reality of job insecurity. It made me realize the fragility of the system and the vulnerability of workers at the mercy of corporate decisions. But it also ignited a fire within me, a determination to turn frustration into action, and to advocate for meaningful change.

When I was a child, my dream was to become a police officer and enforce justice on the streets, but I've come to understand that real change is made through legislation. That's why I made the bold decision to run for office and serve the people of Hollywood.
  • In my campaign for Mayor of Hollywood, Florida, I prioritize justice, public safety, and community well-being. I am committed to promoting community policing initiatives that build trust and collaboration between law enforcement and residents, ensuring transparency and accountability. By implementing comprehensive strategies to address crime, including increased police presence and effective crime prevention programs, we will enhance public safety for all. I recognize the importance of prioritizing mental health support, allocating resources to expand access to services and training law enforcement officers to de-escalate situations involving mental health crises. Furthermore, I advocate for police accountability measures.
  • In my campaign for Mayor of Hollywood, Florida, I am dedicated to fostering responsible and inclusive development that prioritizes the needs of our community. This includes advocating for policies that prioritize affordable housing options for residents of all income levels and preserving the character of our city by maintaining low-rise buildings and historic architecture. Addressing homelessness is also a key focus, where I will work to develop comprehensive solutions that provide housing, support services, and opportunities for individuals in need. Additionally, I aim to promote mixed-use development to create vibrant and walkable neighborhoods, while also prioritizing sustainable practices to protect our environment.
  • In my campaign for Mayor of Hollywood, Florida, I am committed to establishing an independent power entity that harnesses the abundant solar energy available to our city. By creating a public solar entity owned and operated by the city, we can reduce our dependency on traditional utilities like Florida Power and Light (FPL) while promoting renewable energy sources. This initiative will not only lower energy costs for residents and businesses but also increase our energy independence and resilience in the face of disruptions. Additionally, investing in solar energy infrastructure will stimulate economic growth, create green jobs, and contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment.
I'm passionate in the areas of reducing the cost of living, environmental sustainability, proper infrastructure, public safety, quality of life, open transparency, community engagement, among many others to list a few.
John F Kennedy once said: "ask not what your country can do, but what you can do for your country." Hearing those words really inspired to seek public office because I believe it's important to perform our civic duty to defend democracy, to fight for those we love and hold dear, and to remain strong against those who are looking to take away our freedom.
one movie which always stuck out to me, was capitalism, a love story by Michael Moore. I'm a big fan of cinema and my taste varies so I'd say check the movie out and tell me what you think. Personally I've only seen a few politically driven movies, but I really admire that literature, films and media can paint a picture in so many different ways. Perspectives are all different so its kinda neat to see how everyone has their own view on things. Just goes to show how unique we all are.
I believe the best qualities are not those that are written in a memoir, but rather expressed by the ones around you. I believe actions speak louder than words.
I believe in order for one to lead, they must be able to put their pride aside and listen to the community. Leadership is about having the tough conversations not many are willing to have. To stand up for those who need support and to defend the constitutional freedoms we are all guaranteed. Freedom is about expression and living democracy in action.
I'd like to leave a legacy, of peace, harmony, prosperity, independence, freedom, happiness, and collaboration.

I'd love to see the day, where regardless of your origin, or your current situation, everyone is able to be successful by working hard and being a positive member of their community, without the heavy hand of taxation or government oversight.
I remember living through 9/11. Granted I was only 6 years old, I remember it through the eyes of a child. At the time I had no real idea of the magnitude this event would be for the world. God bless our first responders, those who lost family members that day, and the souls of those we lost involved in the attacks and the war that followed.
I worked at a department store bakery. I liked it because I always got to make cookies. I had it only for a few months, before I moved on to something else I enjoyed.
I'd say Schindler's list because the determination and bravery of Oskar Schindler really inspires me.
That's a good question. Just one? I guess I'd say batman, he's pretty cool and has alot of neat gadgets. I like the fact I'd be able to solve crimes and help people.
I listen to alot of different music, but recently I've had one song by frank Sinatra stuck in my head called "Young at heart"
The biggest struggle for me is being a perfectionist, and always wanting to improve.

When referring to government, I see many areas which need improvement, and believe the answers are right before our very eyes, all we need to do is reach out to the community.
As the mayor of a major city, I'd like to be a shoulder to lean on, a friend who is always available. As a leader, its important that we guide the vision of our city for the future and we not shy away from the struggles ahead. We should be leading the charge to ensure all of the resident's needs are met and to protect the population from threats to local security. To organize a plan for disasters, especially in an area which is known to flood or have tropical storms. It's important we don't simply wait for federal leaders to step in but to have a plan in place to protect the population.

The Mayor, is the highest administrative role in a city. We need to have someone who will take charge and take care of the city, not passing the buck to higher government.
I believe the office of the mayor is to ensure all areas of the city are working effectively. Regardless of the city manager, its important the mayor ensures the city is being taken care of. If the city manager is failing to do their job effectively, it's 100% on the mayor to step up and to take charge in resolving this issue.
I love that even though Hollywood is between a few major cities, it still remains this small town, artistic vibe.

The city is full of residents who are good honest people looking to take care of their families and live in peace. Not a day goes by that I don't think how grateful I am to live in Hollywood. I've traveled quite alot and there's nowhere else quite like it.

We have such a diverse population, but yet we are all united with one love, and that's Hollywood.
Cost of living, enviormental sustainability, flooding, lack of infrastructure, legacy costs, and overdevelopment to list a few.i
I believe the city should be self sufficient however should be able to rely on the state and federal government if need be for support. It shouldn't be solely reliant on it. but they should have a close relationship where if need be they can call for help.

Spell I CUP
if you know, you know.
I believe the mayor should assist law enforcement in anyway needed. Our law enforcement works hard everyday to keep us safe. they deserve any and all support.
I think, simply put, the American people deserve to know what the government are doing 24/7 365. I understand and I of course respect national security, but we the people need to know what our tax dollars are being spent on, to the last penny.

We shouldn't blindly accept and anticipate that the powers that be will do good. there needs to be proper checks and balances.
