Edward A. Jacobson
Edward A. Jacobson was a judge of District 3B of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in October 2001.[1] He was most recently retained in 2014 for a six-year term.[2] Jacobson retired from the court on October 9, 2017.[3]
Biography
Jacobson received his bachelor's degree from Morningside College in 1971 and his J.D. from the University of South Dakota in 1974.[1] Jacobson worked as a private practice lawyer for 26 years before becoming a judge. He also worked as an Ida County attorney and was national trial counsel for product liability defense for major equipment manufacturers.[1]

Jacobson was retained to the 3B District Court with 75.3 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [2]
