Edward B. Cottingham
Edward B. Cottingham is an active/retired circuit court judge for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in June 1984. Cottingham retired on June 27, 2000 and has been serving as an active/retired judge since then.[2]
Education
Cottingham received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1953.[2]
Career
Before he became a judge, Cottingham served on the South Carolina House of Representatives. He also practiced law with his firm of Goldberg and Cottingham which later became Goldberg, Cottingham, Easterling & Napier.[2]
