Edward C. Wright (Pennsylvania)
Edward Wright (Democratic Party) is a judge of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He assumed office in 2012. His current term ends on January 5, 2032.
Wright ran for re-election for judge of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He won in the retention election on November 2, 2021.
Education
Wright earned his undergraduate degree from Temple University and his J.D. from the University of Maryland.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Wright spent 18 years as a sole practitioner.[2]

Wright won the Democratic Party primary on May 17. He received 3.8 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary.[3] He was elected in a race with eleven open seats in the general election on November 8. Wright received 7.8 percent of the vote.[4]
