Edward Colt
Edward Colt was a judge for the Fourth Judicial District of Colorado.[1] Colt joined the court in 1999.[2] He was retained by voters in 2014, winning a six-year term that was set to expire on January 11, 2021. [3]
Education
Colt earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in 1978 and his J.D. degree from California Western Law School in 1986.[4]
Career
Prior to taking the bench, Colt was an attorney in private practice and served as the municipal judge for Colorado Springs, Colorado.[4]
Elections
2014
Colt was retained to the Fourth Judicial District with 69.7 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [5]
Judicial performance evaluation
