Edward Franklin Bingham
Edward Franklin Bingham (1828-1907) was Chief Justice on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
He received a recess appointment from President Grover Cleveland on April 22, 1887 and was nominated on December 20th. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 23, 1888, and received commission that same day. He retired on April 30, 1903.[1] Bingham died on September 5th, 1907.
