A special election for the position of Connecticut House of Representatives District 115 was called for February 28, 2017. The filing deadline for political parties to nominate their candidates to run in this election was January 23, 2017.[1]
The seat was vacant following Stephen Dargan's (D) resignation to take a job on Connecticut's Board of Pardons and Paroles.
Dorinda Keenan Borer (D) defeated Edward Granfield (R) in the special election.[2][3]
