I am a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, and a graduate of New York University with a degree in English and philosophy. I am a former counsel to the consumer protection committee in the New York State Senate, a legislative counsel in the New York City Council, a former Assistant District Attorney and the President of the Community Education Council in District 2, Manhattan. I have drafted legislation to protect children from lead-contaminated toys, defended tenants facing eviction in Housing Court, advocated on behalf of elderly and incapacitated persons, and have worked to integrate the NYC public schools. I believe in Equal Justice (He/Him).
