Edward M. Davidowitz
Edward M. Davidowitz is a former justice of the Bronx County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the 12th Judicial District of New York.[1][2] Davidowitz retired from the bench and subsequently passed away on October 10, 2014, at the age of 81.[3]
Education
Davidowitz received his B.A. from Allegheny College and his J.D. from Cornell University Law School.[2]
Military service
Davidowitz served as a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.[3]
Career
Davidowitz began his legal career as an assistant district attorney. He then worked in private practice. Davidowitz returned to the public sector as a special assistant attorney general in the New York State Special Prosecutor's Office. He was appointed as an acting supreme court justice to the Bronx County Supreme Court in 1985.[3]
