Cook County Recorder of Deeds

Edward Moody is a former Cook County recorder of deeds in Illinois. He was sworn in to the position on December 4, 2018, to replace Karen Yarbrough.[1] Moody left office in December 2020 after the Cook County Recorder of Deeds Office was merged with the Cook County Clerk's Office.[2]

Moody was also the District 6 representative on the Cook County Board of Commissioners in Illinois from 2016 to 2018. He was appointed to the office on October 8, 2016, to fill the vacancy left by the death of Joan Patricia Murphy.[3]
