Edward S. Wilson was a Second Judicial District judge for Ramsey County, Minnesota. Governor Rudy Perpich appointed Wilson in 1987. Wilson was elected to a full term in 1988 and re-elected in 1994, 2000, 2006 and 2012.[1] He retired in April 2018.[2]

Education

Wilson received his B.A. degree from Macalester College in 1970 and his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1974.[1]

Career

Wilson began his legal career in 1974 working with the Legal Aid Society of Minneapolis. He worked for the Neighborhood Justice Center in St. Paul from 1979 until his 1987 judicial appointment.[1]

Elections

2012

Wilson ran unopposed in the general election November 6, 2012. He received 98.59 percent of the vote.[3]
