Edward Smith (Democratic Party) was a judge for Place 2 of the Texas Third District Court of Appeals. He assumed office on January 1, 2019. He left office on December 31, 2024.
Smith (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Place 2 judge of the Texas Third District Court of Appeals. He lost in the Democratic primary runoff on May 28, 2024.
Biography
Edward Smith earned a B.S. in political science from Texas A&M University in 2001 and a J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2005. Smith’s career experience includes working as an associate attorney with Brayton Purcell and with Hissey Kientz.[1]
