Edward Sweeney
J. Edward Sweeney was a circuit court judge for the 22nd Circuit Court in Missouri. He was appointed in January 2005 and retired from the bench in 2017.[1][2]
Prior to his appointment as a circuit court judge, Sweeney served as an associate circuit judge for the 22nd Circuit. He was appointed to that position in 1997.[1]
Biography
Sweeney earned an undergraduate degree from Marquette University, a master's degree in business administration from St. Louis University, and a J.D. from the University of Missouri at Columbia School of Law. His experience includes service in the Missouri State Legislature and the U.S. Army.[1][3]

Sweeney was retained as a judge on the 22nd Circuit Court.[1][4]
1998 and 2002
Sweeney was retained as an associate circuit judge on the 22nd Circuit Court.[1]
