Edward Tate is the Region 2 member of the Council Rock Board of Directors in Pennsylvania. The seat was up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015. He filed to run in both the Democratic and Republican primaries and won both nominations.[1] Edward Tate won the general election on November 3, 2015.

Tate has worked in education throughout his career. Most of his career has been in educational testing services at the University of Illinois.[2]

Five of the nine seats on the Council Rock Board of Directors were up for election in the general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015.

Region 1 incumbent Bill Foster and Region 2 candidate Edward Tate won election without opposition. Region 4 incumbent Wendi Thomas (R) defeated challenger Richard Wilkinson (D). Region 5 incumbent Jerold S. Grupp (R) won re-election against challenger Leslie Rothberg (D). Michael Thorwart (R) defeated Michelle Held (D) in the Region 7 race. No independent candidates filed for the election.[1]
