Edward Van Gerpen
Edward Van Gerpen (b. March 23, 1938) is a former Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 19. Van Gerpen was elected to the South Dakota House of Representatives in 2010.
He served in the U.S. Army for two years. In his professional career he has been a truck driver and a lifetime farmer. He also served as the chair of the Bon Homme County Republicans and sat on the Avon School Board.
Van Gerpen earned his bachelor's degree from the University of South Dakota, Springfield.
