Edwin L. Poyfair
Edwin L. Poyfair was a judge of the Clark Superior Court in Washington. [1] He retired from the court on April 30, 2012.[2][3]
Judicial Commission censure
In the week of his retirement, Poyfair was cesured by the Washingon Commission on Judicial Conduct. According to the commission, the former judge violated judicial canons during two custody hearings. Poyfair disagrees with some aspects of the allegations, though admits that he did display a lack of patience at the hearings.
Poyfair also admitted that the pending censure was the reason for his early retirement.[4]
