What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
Making quality healthcare more affordable and accessible, enacting stronger gun violence prevention laws and reforming our criminal justice system
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Healthcare. My son, Elery, was born three months premature. After 91 days of fighting for his life in the hospital, we finally got to take him home. That's when we received a bill for 1.3 million dollars. As shocking as that seems, my story is not unique. Our healthcare system is broken. No one should have to choose between bankruptcy and their child.
Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?
Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
For the past 22 years, I've practiced law at all different levels of state court. I've seen where the law can be a force for good and where it can leave people behind. I want to take this knowledge with me to the State Senate and fight for all Virginians
What process do you favor for redistricting?
non-partisan redistricting
