Eileen Klein
Eileen Klein (Republican Party) was the Arizona Treasurer. Klein assumed office in 2018. Klein left office in 2019.
Governor Doug Ducey (R) appointed Klein as the Arizona treasurer on April 17, 2018, to replace former officeholder Jeff DeWit. DeWit stepped down on April 3, 2018, after the U.S. Senate appointed him chief financial officer of NASA.[1][2] Klein did not file to run for re-election in 2018.
Biography
Klein served as president of the Arizona Board of Regents from 2013 to 2018. Klein previously served as director of the Arizona governor's office of strategic planning and budgeting and as chief of staff to former Gov. Jan Brewer.[1] She also served as chief operating officer and vice president of government relations for UnitedHealthcare Arizona Physicians IPA from 2005 to 2009.[3]
