Campaign themes
2014
Robinson highlighted the following issues on her campaign website:
“ | I have advocated for increased academic rigor, student physical and emotional health, expanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs, music and the arts, as well as increased co-ordination of Special Education programs and students with General Education peers. Providing the best education opportunities for all students is the number one goal of Chico Unified, and I support that goal. Implementation of the Common Core State Standards moves into high gear in 2014/15. Students not only need to understand the who and what, but also the why of information if they are to flourish in this global society. |
