A true conservative who believes in liberty and freedom with less government interference. I migrated to Texas in later 1980s and have lived in the same part of Dallas all this time. And because of my interest in public, I ran for Mayor of Dallas and have been appointed to various boards and commissions at city, county and federal levels. Am a graduate of Leadership Dallas, Legacy Dallas as well some other law enforcement citizen's academy programs. My compassion for others led me to raise money for non-profit organization, as well as sponsored and supported persons who benefited from by kindness. There is no alternative to America and am running for Congress to ensure the values America stands for are not eroded by a government bent on taking aways our most cherished and endearing rights.
  • Fight to secure or border and introduce sensible immigration reforms
  • Fight to minimize waste in our federal budget such that we strive to live within our means
  • Fight for rights that makes us Americans continue to defend this country while supporting our allies who commit to work with us
Immigration, Spending, Defend America against foreign and domestic interests that seeks to erode our most cherished values.
Absolutely my parents because they schooled me life value, sense of public service with deep sense of duty and discipline to work towards my goals. I came from a family known for public service. My dad was a pillar of my community and did a lot that I like to follow. Living in US, I have been engaged and involved since settling in Dallas. I have met many POTUS, Governors, Senators and elected and appointed officials.
I have read several books. I glean from each. No particular book stands out. However, I like those who want to serve to understand Courage and Leadership. There are numerous books on them.
Credibility, Integrity, Trustworthiness, Honesty, Transparency and ability to disclose when certain experiences may be a source of conflict.
Serve and relay and report useful information to those one is elected to represent.
That is service and respect for those who trust me to serve them.
7 yrs old when Nigeria went to civil war and my father Chief of my local government was a target of Nigeria military forces who raided and destroyed his compound. Soldiers at some point had me carrying hot pot on my head which ended up burning my head and hair. That experience has always remained with me. And I was about 8-9 years old.
BusBoy at Anatole Hotel in Dallas but in less than 3 years was Regional Appraisal Manager for FDIC as Receiver in charge of appraisal functions over 8 states out the Central Regional Office in Dallas, Texas
Three Days at Camp David. It told story how America changed it destiny over a 3-day period. I enjoyed that book.
Bob Marley - Get Up Stand and Don't Give Up the Fight
Nothing really. Coming to US was by choice. I had to adjust to appreciate living US. I have hardly struggled to do anything. I quickly adjust to new environments in order to live.
Because of its representative nature and the fact that it is not less important to the Senate and has constitutional role of Ways and Means.
Maintain and protect those rights and way to life than makes US exceptional.
Hardly - maybe we amend to 5year terms and no more than 4 terms
Am for it. I support the Convention of States Action.
I know some but I have my preferences. I prefer to keep it secret
When I was buying my ticket to come to America, the travel agent asked me what seat I would want - I answered that I want a seat in the Black Box. She asked what do I mean? I said in case something happened I will be safe in the Box. My reasoning - each time there is a plane crash, they looked for the black box. I thought a seat in the Box would be perfect. She laughed so hard and corrected me.
Absolutely - Way and Means. Would like to serve in Ways and Means and speak to us having balanced budget

Campaign website

Okpa's website stated the following:

LIST OF ISSUES

End the Border Crisis

  • Tighten the border by way of sealants and reinforcements of the gaps.
  • Enforce laws by supporting border agents with proper technology and safety.
  • The United States is our home. We must protect the homeland and bring law and order back into the immigration process.
  • For people who have crossed the border illegally, we will design a reform plan to ensure that justice, consequences, and laws are respected. We must solve the problem that was created in the first place.

Sensible Immigration Policies

  • There should be vetting time between receipt of an application and granting of citizenship to an immigrant.
  • Immigrants must have a sense of commitment to America.
  • Application forms should be available to people who want to add value to America.
  • America welcomes those who will build up our great nation.

Cut Inflation

  • The federal government is the biggest employer of Americans. We will reevaluate spending on all federal departments and agencies.
  • Review budget deficits to course correct in a way that does not worsen current rates of inflation.

Enforce Law and Order

  • Americans need the police. If you do not think so, what would you suggest is the alternative?
  • The police are overwhelmed by sometimes inconsistent laws that are made by our local city councils and legislatures. The blame is misplaced on police. The police just enforce the laws that are created by other bodies.
  • Law enforcement should be working on significant crimes, but they are stretched thin. We must provide the necessary resources so that law enforcement is supported and so that significant crimes can be solved and brought to justice. We must carry out this enforcement of significant crimes to reduce current crime rates.

Serve God and The People

  • God is the supreme power.
  • I am a servant of the people to figure out what is going on in Washington and report back to the people with honesty.
  • I will only represent my constituent’s wants and needs, not those of lobbyists. I refuse to allow a For Sale sign to be placed on my door. I only work for the people of my home district.

Reopen America

  • We are guaranteed freedom by the United States Constitution.
  • Mandates are antithetical to our origins as a free nation.
  • America is the country that prevails against evil, authoritarianism, and tyranny.
  • We will uphold standard American values and not back down.

Reduce Taxes

  • We will address the 15% redundancy rate to review where our tax revenue is being spent. We must do this before we do anything else. So much money is wasted. We must fix this prior to anything else.
  • Welfare and social programs will be evaluated to ensure that the right people are being served by these services.

Bring Back High Paying Jobs

  • Expand access to jobs with wages that can sustain the lives of people so that they have a high level of satisfaction and security.
  • Building money management programs so that all individuals can acquire the skills they need to make every dollar stretch as much as possible.

Promote the Family

  • Family is the foundation of America.
  • American Families set the tone for American success and morality.
  • We must defend the American Family and not permit any forces to dismantle this foundational unit of American society.

Restore the American Dream

  • First, we are Americans.
  • Individual motivation is needed to fulfill any goal one may have. We will promote a free meritocracy so that individuals of all backgrounds have access to opportunities that will allow them to improve their conditions.
  • There are no restrictions for minorities or any other demographic groups. Categorizing and stereotyping discourages people from trying. Upward mobility is available to all who put in the hard work.

Stand Up for America, Not Globalism

  • We support Americans first.
  • Businesses, charities, and individuals should prioritize America and her interests first.
  • On the foreign policy table, we must ensure that deals are reasonable for all parties involved and that America does not suffer or lose from deals that are made on the global stage.[4]
