A City of El Segundo Utility Users Tax, Measure O ballot proposition was on the November 2, 2010 ballot for voters in the City of El Segundo in Los Angeles County.[1] It was defeated.
Measure O, if it had been approved, would have added 1% to the Utility User Taxes assessed in the city, making it 4% instead of 3%.
A simple majority vote was required for approval.

The question on the ballot:
Measure O: Shall the ordinance amending El Segundo Municipal Code Chapter 3-7 to temporarily increase the Utility User Taxes by 1% to fund general municipal services including, without limitation, police protection and crime suppression services, fire prevention and suppression services, and park and recreation facilities and services be adopted?[2] |
