Elaine Gannon (Republican Party) was a member of the Missouri State Senate, representing District 3. She assumed office on January 6, 2021. She left office on January 8, 2025.

Gannon (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Missouri State Senate to represent District 3. She did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on August 6, 2024.

Biography

Elaine Gannon was born in Bonne Torre, Missouri. Gannon graduated from Bismarck High School in 1971. She earned an associate degree from Jefferson County Community College in 1973, a bachelor's degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1975, and a master's degree in education from Southwest Missouri Baptist University in 1994. Gannon's career experience includes working as a teacher and coach with DeSoto Public Schools.[1]

Elections for the Missouri House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Dan Darian was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Elaine Gannon was unopposed in the Republican primary. Jerry Dollar, Jr. was unopposed in the Constitution Party primary. Gannon faced Darian and Dollar in the general election.[7][8] Incumbent Gannon defeated Dollar and Darian in the general election. and was re-elected to another term.[9]
