Elaine Hornsby
Elaine Hornsby (formerly Hornsby Whitlock) is a member of the Mesquite Independent School District school board in Texas, representing Place 6. She assumed office in 2015. Her current term ends in 2027.
Hornsby (formerly Hornsby Whitlock) ran for re-election to the Mesquite Independent School District school board to represent Place 6 in Texas. She won in the general election on May 4, 2024.
Biography
Whitlock is a retired educator and administrator, having served as a classroom teacher, assistant principal and principal during her career. She spent 37 years in Mesquite ISD. She has her bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University, her master's degree from Texas A&M University at Commerce and her mid-management certificate from Texas Women's University. She and her husband, Larry, have to daughters.[1]
