Elaine Schwartz
Elaine J. Schwartz is a former Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 99 from 2006 to 2014. She served as Democratic whip from 2006 to 2008. She did not seek re-election in 2014.
Biography
Schwartz's professional experience includes working as an assistant attorney for the City of Hollywood, attorney for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, columnist for the Hollywood Sun-Tattler, attorney and advocate for the Long Term Care Ombudsman Council, attorney for MetLife, and high school teacher.[1]

Elections
2012
Schwartz won election in the 2012 election for Florida House of Representatives District 99. Schwartz ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012, and defeated Elizabeth Anne Eddy (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
2010
Schwartz ran for re-election to the 99th District seat in 2010. She did not have any opposition in the August 24 primary or in the general election, which took place on November 2, 2010.[3]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Schwartz won re-election to the Florida House of Representatives from Florida's 99th District, defeating Andrew Housman (write-in). Schwartz received 39,248 votes in the election while Housman received 35 votes.[4] Schwartz raised $58,806 for her campaign.[5]
