Elbert Bertram Haltom, Jr. (1922-2003) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

Haltom was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on January 10, 1980, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 29, 1980, and received commission the next day. He assumed senior status on December 31, 1991, and served in that capacity until his death on October 12, 2003. Haltom was succeeded in this position by Charles Smith.
