HELENA, Montana: Ten contested state executive official races were decided during last night's primary election: four Democratic primaries - for governor, attorney general and Districts 2 and 3 on the Montana Public Service Commission - and six Republican races - governor, attorney general, secretary of state, and all three Districts of the PSC.[1] Five incumbents are seeking re-election this year, none of whom faced a primary challenger last night.
As of 1pm (EST) on Wednesday, June 6, two races are still too close to call: the Democratic nominations for attorney general and PSC District 3. Results are unofficial until certification on June 26th.[1]
