Elena J. Duarte is an associate justice on the Third District of the California Courts of Appeal. She was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on November 23, 2010.[1][2] She successfully ran for retention in 2014 to a term that expires on January 3, 2027.[3][4]
