Elesha Gayman
Elesha Gayman was a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 84th District from 2007 to 2011. She was an Assistant Majority Leader during her tenure in the House.
Gayman served as Regional Political Director of the Barack Obama Presidential Campaign from 2007-2008. She is a College Professor, grant writer, and political consultant.
She is a member of the American Association of University Women, American Red Cross, Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service Board, and Safer Foundation Board.[1]

Gayman did not run for re-election in 2010.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Gayman was re-elected to the 84th District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Ross C. Paustian (R)[2] Gayman raised $489,993 for her campaign, while Paustian raised $197,257.[3]
